Zimbabwe Travel Advice & Information
Encounter some of the world’s largest animals on one of our Zimbabwe wildlife holidays. Explore the days away at Chobe National Park before kicking back and relaxing as the sun dips behind the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans. However you choose to spend your trip, you’ll be sure to bring back a whole host of memories, wondrous wildlife shots and stories to last a lifetime.
Head to northern Zimbabwe, the country’s most popular region for all things wildlife and safaris. It’s a hub for wildernesses rich with game and Hwange National Park is a prime example. In fact, it’s the biggest reserve in the country and conserves one of Africa’s largest elephant populations, not to mention the rest of the Big Five (lions, leopards, rhinos and buffalos). It’s also one of the only places in the country where you can see giraffes grazing in their natural habitat, making this a must for all things, wildlife and exploration.
Sitting proudly next to Zimbabwe’s most visited attraction, Victoria Falls, is Zambezi National Park. With its convenient location, this is a wildlife haven perfect for those with a tighter timeframe. While there aren’t any rhinos, you can still snap pictures of the rest of the Big Five, as well as a wide range of other animals, like sable antelopes, wild dogs and giraffes.
