We are proud to absorb 100% of the carbon footprint generated by the air transportation of each holiday taken by our clients. We have also decided to include those flights independently booked by clients. In order to achieve this goal, we are participating alongside eight European groups in the new €100m Livelihoods Carbon Fund, to help fight global warming. We are doing so by taking a highly practical approach aimed at having a strong local social and economic impact.
At Original Travel we want everything to run as smoothly as possible so we’ve made sure that you’ll only ever have one point of contact. From brainstorming your holiday in the beginning to getting you home safely at the end, our destination expert will create an itinerary tailored just for you.
Our UK airport departure Meet and Greet service is included as standard with every Original Travel booking. You will be met in the departure hall by a member of our team who will then help fast-track you through check-in, and whisk you through security. We also offer this service on your return, on request.
With ATOL and ABTA, you can sleep easy knowing that your holiday is fully protected. You’ll be entitled to a refund if you are yet to travel, and to the costs of hotels and flights home if you are already abroad.
Where available, lounge access is provided for all flights departing from UK airports, even if you’re flying in economy class. Enjoy complimentary drinks and snacks in the comfort of the lounge before making your way to your flight.
The last thing you want to be worrying about before a relaxing holiday away is where you’ll be sitting on the plane. That’s why we’ll hold your airline seats while you’re planning the holiday and pre-book them when you confirm the trip. Then, the day before departure, we check you in and send your boarding passes so at the airport you can go directly to baggage drop-off.
A connoisseur of their country, our Concierges are on hand to take your trip to the next level. Before you even set off on your adventure, your dedicated Concierge will be informed of all of your trip’s details and your likes and dislikes. When you arrive, they’ll be in touch to let you know that they’re on hand to help with everything, from last-minute changes to tips and tricks on where to go and what to see.

Even when you’ve planned a holiday down to the finest detail, things can still go wrong. Not to worry, we have you covered with our 24-hour helpline. So if you’ve missed your plane or lost your luggage, we’re only one call away.
Our handy app gives you access to your day-by-day itinerary; details and photos of your accommodation; important contact information, including our in-country Concierge; as well as a selection of recommended restaurants, shops and things to do and see, all visible on a GPS map within the app. And better yet, this can all be accessed offline once you have downloaded the information in the app, so you won’t have to worry about pesky roaming charges while you are away.
Whether it’s an early morning arrival or a late departure, we can arrange for you to check-in/out of your accommodation at a time that’s convenient to you. We can also arrange a room for the day on certain stopovers.
Available on the Original Travel app and in your documents, our detailed dossier of recommended restaurants, shops, museums and more will be your trusted travel companion.
Stay in touch while you're on the move with either an eSim or Wi-Fi router (depending on the country you are visiting). We can provide an eSim or virtual sim card, which allows you to connect to the internet on your smartphone, or an international mini router, which allows you to connect to Wi-Fi on your various devices (mobile, tablet, laptop). Both mean you can avoid absorbing significant mobile roaming costs while you are away, although they are subject to local network coverage.
Inject some fun into your family holiday with our family fun packs, designed in partnership with children's party people Sharky & George. They include tailored destination info, challenges and games for every child (aged three to ten).
If you’re going on a dive holiday with Original Diving (our dive division), we will lend you a top of the range GoPro to film and photograph your dives. We’ll arrange for you to return the camera after the trip.
