Best time to go on an Oman honeymoon

Summers in Oman are hot. Too hot. With incredible highs of 35°C and lows of 28°C, this season is strictly reserved for sun worshippers. Even the water is warm, a staggering 28°C. So, unless you’re prepared to slather on the suncream, we recommend booking your honeymoon in Oman in winter (October – April). Think of it as something to look forward to after the big summer day. Climates are comfortable, ranging between 24°C and 35°C, and rainfall is pretty much obsolete. This means you can enjoy roof down road trips, hikes into the Al Hajar mountains and tours of Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque and Mutrah Souq completely umbrella free. If you’re not ready to leave the festival party fever behind either, Oman’s Muscat Festival and the Youth Sailing World Championships will be in full swing come January.
