Inspiration for your own tailor-made trip
Bali - Australia - Fiji
100% customisable for you
International flight via Singapore. Overnight flight, arriving the next day.
Private transfer and three-night stay in an eco-lodge in the countryside. All around, rice fields spread out against the backdrop of the majestic silhouette of Mount Agung, Bali's sacred active volcano. The hotel's buildings have the arched shape of traditional Indonesian rice barns. The suites exude rustic charm but also offer excellent luxury and perfect privacy. The restaurant uses organic ingredients. Live life at a gentle country pace away from the crowds. The guesthouse atmosphere encourages a laidback approach to the day. And the sun shimmers off the rice fields. The eco-lodge's surroundings are ideal for beautiful walks, which can be undertaken with a medicinal plant specialist.
Included in the itinerary - One-hour Balinese massage, to gently recover from the journey.
Welcome on arrival, private transfer and three nights' accommodation in the heart of the city: The Rocks, Darling Harbour and Circular Quay are all within walking distance. It's the perfect location for exploring the city. Behind its imposing neo-Gothic facade, your 1920s hotel proudly boasts an Art Deco atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, the terrace is pleasant and the service is professional.
Two days to recharge your batteries, explore the Balinese countryside, rice fields and peaceful villages. We would recommend visiting Besakih Temple, on the slopes of the Agung. There are about twenty temples here, the main one being Pura Penataram Agung. It is one of the most sacred places in Balinese Hinduism.
Included in the itinerary - An introduction to Balinese cuisine in private. Spice mixes are perhaps the main feature of Balinese cuisine. So, it's not surprising that the Balinese take great care in creating spice blends. They lend dishes their main flavour, and their punch. Novice cooks are shown the ropes in the capable hands of an expert. Here, cooking isn't just about ingredients but encompasses the culture as a whole, and you can use the opportunity to learn about it and understand it. Then, it's time to taste the end results.
Included in the itinerary - The village of Undisan. During this day trip in the countryside, you will visit the village of Undisan with an expert guide. The locals are particularly welcoming and invite guests into their homes, temple and fields. This is the perfect opportunity to learn about growing rice, the preparation of daily offerings, and 'gong' music, performed by a traditional group of musicians mainly comprising percussion instruments. Take walks in the countryside to the main temples in the area while meeting local craftspeople (silversmiths and tailors) to round off this introduction to the Balinese way of life.
Transfer to Ubud. Accommodation for three nights in a hotel located a little away from the centre, in the heart of lush nature, and facing the rice fields. The architecture of the villas incorporates the finest design features of the Balinese royal household and modern facilities, providing guests with a refined and comfortable setting. Most of them have a small private pool. Not forgetting attentive and discreet service, bespoke facilities, an organic restaurant, a spa and convenient access to the region's many sites.
Optional - Half-day with a local who speaks your language.
Two days to explore Ubud, the artistic capital of Bali. Visit workshops, galleries and rice fields. The best thing about this region is that mass tourism has not yet reached and altered it.
Included in the itinerary - A day in the countryside of Ubud, between temples, rice fields and sacred springs. With a local private guide, explore the rural landscape of Ubud, including the Hindu Temple of Kehen, the traditional village of Penglipuran and its bamboo houses, the majestic temple of Gunung Kawi Tampaksiring on the banks of the Pakrisan River, and the almost mystical holy springs of Tirta Empul, famed for their purifying and medicinal powers. The day ends with a visit to the temple of Sebatu, a Hindu shrine founded on a spring, and the rice fields of Ceking in Tegalalang, with sublime panoramic views.
Sydney owes much of its lifestyle to the sea. From Circular Quay, you'll sail through the bay, which undoubtedly offers the most excitement per square mile. You can't miss a walk along the sands of Bondi and Bronte beaches, connected by a scenic footpath. Whether you're a beginner or experienced surfer, you must try out the waves here, or try your hand at skimboarding. The Sydney Fish Market offers the very freshest seafood and many small restaurants come here to buy their stock. Immerse yourself in the CBD's high-rise architecture or stroll through the Royal Botanic Garden, Australia's oldest scientific institution. It's a wonderful place to take a stroll through; the British-style gardens, combined with its plant conservation and acclimatisation processes, have created a living national treasure. At the Museum of Contemporary Art, admire works by Emily Kane Kngwarreye, Fiona Foley and Peter Kennedy, among many others. As evening falls, you'll see that whether it's beer or wine, burger or haute cuisine, a tiny cafe or a huge techno club, Sydney has something for everyone at night.
Included in the itinerary - private city tour with a local guide Head out on a walk with a private guide who will tailor the tour to your interests, in the city or around the beaches. It's also the perfect opportunity talk about life in Australia, to listen to anecdotes about Sydney and get some tips for the rest of your trip.
Option - A private cruise around Sydney's bay for unobstructed views of the city, Harbour Bridge and Opera House.
Private transfer to the airport and flight to Ayers Rock in the Red Centre. Collect your hire car and spend two nights in simple and practical accommodation in the middle of the bush. The location is ideal for enjoying the desert, especially the views of the towering Uluru, the spiritual and mineral heart of Aboriginal culture.
Optional - a helicopter ride over Uluru to fully appreciate its majesty.
Included - Admission to the Field of Light. Internationally renowned light artist Bruce Munro chose the Red Centre to exhibit his artwork. This is a world-first for this ephemeral art show, which runs until 31 December 2020. Approximately 50,000 thin stems crowned with frosted glass spheres line the desert and light up the red earth as soon as night falls in the Outback, against the backdrop of the towering rock. It's a truly unique opportunity to see the desert completely lit up at night.
Things to see and experience - At dawn or at the end of the day, enjoy watching the sun rise or set on Uluru.
Our advice : the rock is so huge that it can easily be seen from several miles away. Yet, curiously, all visitors stop at the same place to admire the show. Be smart and find your own little spot.
Return the hire car to the airport and fly back to Sydney. Private transfer to the CBD where you'll be staying in an Art Deco hotel for your last night in Sydney.
Private transfer to the airport and flight to Nadi, gateway to Fiji. You'll be greeted on arrival by our team on the ground and privately transferred to a contemporary hotel, set in a large tropical park, for one night. The hotel is built in a traditional Fijian style and rooms overlook lush gardens. The restaurant serves international cuisine with Pacific influences. To rest after a long flight, there is a swimming pool, gym, spa...
Private transfer to the port of Denarau and catamaran ride to the small island of Malolo in the Mamanuca Archipelago. Three nights in quiet accommodation by the beach. On site, the welcome is warm and the calm is divine (the 'adult only' nature of the place charms). Rooms are spread out in small traditional houses known as 'bures', little cocoons by the pool or on the beach. The interiors are comfortable and rather simple, extended by a small outdoor space - with private pools for some rooms. The cuisine is good, the activities are numerous: swimming pool, kayaking, yoga, diving, paddle boarding, volleyball...
Things to do. First, don't do anything. There's no need to rush. Let yourself soak up the beauty of the island - a volcanic cone that pops out of the ocean just enough to display an intense green vegetation surrounded by coconut trees and a strip of fine sand. In its crystal clear water, corals bloom in all their beauty. Fish come and go in their spectacular natural habitat. Grab your mask and a snorkel to take a closer look. You can also swim a few gentle laps in the hotel's infinity pool. On the beach, play beach volleyball or beach bowls. Trips out to sea take you to the most beautiful diving spots or to other small paradise islands.
Transfer back to the marina of Denaray by catamaran, then by car to Nadi, where you'll have a comfortable one night stopover.
You'll be transferred privately to Denpasar Airport for a flight to Sydney. Overnight flight, arriving the next day.
Transfer to the airport and fly home via Singapore. Overnight flight, arriving the next day.
