Ras Al Hadd

This beach is also steeped in history – during World War II, fighter planes gathered here and you can still see some evidence of them today.

Al Mughsayl

This beach is a favourite with locals and tourists alike, so you’ll likely find lots of people playing sport on the sand. It’s an impressive six miles long, making it the perfect place for a romantic evening stroll on your Oman beach holiday. And best of all – there’s a neighbouring cave to explore and a dramatic blowhole where the sea sprays up through the rock like a geyser.

Duqm’s hidden beaches

Duqm is a port town halfway between the cities of Muscat and Salalah and is surrounded by deserted beaches.
