Itinerary

100% customisable for you

After making the most of our fast-track airport services, begin your luxury family trip to Tuscany with a two-hour flight from the UK to Pisa. Upon arrival, bundle your brood onto the shuttle bus from the airport to your serene villa in the hills of Fiesole, just outside of Florence. Enjoy a tasty meal in the restaurant and then it's off to bed for an early night ready for the first day of your adventure tomorrow.

Today, on the first day of your luxury family trip to Tuscany, you will have the opportunity to walk in the footsteps of the famous Medici Family, and discover the highlights of this stunning city. After a relaxing al fresco breakfast at your hotel, embark on a two-hour private guided tour around the quaint, winding streets of Florence. Explore the picture-perfect Piazza Della Signoria and Ponte Vecchio - Florence's oldest bridge. Admire the multi-coloured marble cathedral in Piazza del Duomo and climb the Giotto Bell Tower for breath-taking views of the Tuscan skyline.

During the tour, the little ones will be kept entertained with a game booklet packed full of challenges and riddles. To find out the answers, all they need to do is listen to the exciting facts and stories of the tour guide.

This morning, after a light breakfast, head to the outskirts of the ancient city walls for a family cookery class. The class will take place at a top wine and cookery school, where you’ll be taught by internationally-acclaimed chefs. Learn how to make some Italian classics (which will appeal to even the fussiest of eaters!) in an environment which combines both professional skill and a welcoming feel. At the end of the class you’ll get to sample your handcrafted fares and share your dishes with the rest of the family.

Today, you will be privately transferred from your hotel to explore the charming little old town of Lucca. The drive will last around an hour, with plenty of beautiful Tuscan scenery to enjoy along the way. When you arrive, hop on your bikes and, along with your private tour guide, discover the top spots of Lucca: Piazza Anfiteatro, Basilica of San Frediano and the Lucca Cathedral. Cycle along the old 16th century city walls, and - back on two feet - wander leisurely along the narrow streets of the town, the perfect laid-back activity on your luxury family trip to Tuscany.

With fun-filled booklets to entertain the little ones during the tour, you'll be able to admire the achingly beautiful architecture without any complaints of ‘I'm bored’ - the one thing all parents dread to hear on any family holiday.

It's time to return home today. After enjoying a leisurely breakfast, you'll be met at your hotel and privately transferred to Pisa airport for your two-and-a-half-hour flight back to the UK. Armed with your family fun packs, the children will be entertained for hours, giving you parents the chance to enjoy a glass of wine and toast to the success of your luxury family trip to Tuscany.
