Honeymoon Australasia holidays

Despite being very far away from us Brits, Australia and New Zealand are exceptional destinations for a luxury honeymoon, especially for those with a little more time to spend in the destination. Both Australia and New Zealand offer spectacular scenery, delicious food and plenty to see and do, making them wonderful options for 'maximoons.' New Zealand has to be the epi-centre for activity based honeymoons with hiking, kayaking, sailing, skiing (we could go on...) on tap for the most active of honeymooners. Combine this with some of the most breathtaking scenery as well as outstanding wineries and we think you have a pretty wonderful and not to mention diverse honeymoon. The North Island is where most honeymoons are likely to begin, in Auckland and we would recommend getting out onto the water on a boat cruise as well as visiting the Sky Tower for great views before you move towards the Bay of Islands for wonderful marine life. On the South Island, head to Marlborough Sounds and sample the wine and seafood and then walk it off on one of their great walks as you admire the beautiful scenery. Australia is a vast country, and while you may not be able to see it all in one trip, we can recommend tropical rainforests, coral reefs, fiery red deserts, great surfing spots, wineries and pristine beaches to fully match your interests with the regions most suited to you on your special trip.
