Laamu Atoll holidays

Exquisitely remote, the Laamu Atoll is the epitome of an idyllic castaway oasis. Our favourite resort is on the island of Olhuveli, in the heart of the atoll, and has been beautifully-crafted in harmony with the local ecology, to reflect enduring Maldivian traditions and a sense of simplistic luxury. The surrounding waters have been declared a Hope Spot, in recognition of the sustainable ecotourism practices adopted on the island, and this initiative aims to preserve the wonderfully diverse marine life for future generations of divers and snorkellers. An equal amount of care has been taken with the design of the accommodation itself, with comfortable suites suspended above the turquoise-hued ocean, some with their own private beaches and gardens. Every corner of the resort exudes pure escapism and secluded relaxation.
