Romania Visa Requirements

Romania is not part of the Schengen area, so visits to the country do not count towards the 90-day visa-free limit in the Schengen area. You can, however, travel to Romania for up to 90 days in any 180-day period without a visa.

Passport Validity for Romania Travel

Your passport should be issued fewer than ten years before the date you enter Romania and valid for at least three months after the day you plan to leave.
