The magnificent Serengeti, the mammoth Ngorongoro Crater and the annual Great Migration make it easy to see why so many wildlife enthusiasts find themselves gravitating towards Tanzania. It’s a safari and wildlife spotting destination without equal, with world-renowned national parks, like the Tarangire National Park and Lake Manyara National Park, offering some of the best game viewing around. You can spot the entire Lion King cast, as they weave their way through the breath-taking landscape, tick off the classic Big Five (lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and African buffalo), and go in search of some lesser-spotted creatures, such as the African wild dog, a rare canine with a unique ‘painted’ coat, which can be found in Tanzania’s southern parks. Of course, it’s not all animals and no play, with plenty of opportunities to take in the immensity of Lakes Victoria and Tanganyika; flop coast-side and dive beneath the Indian Ocean for a marine safari; or for the particularly intrepid, even scale Mount Kilimanjaro. However you’re spending it, when it comes to Tanzania wildlife holidays our experts can ensure you take a walk on the wild side and experience all that this incredible country has to offer.

"We had a wonderful time! Our guide was amazing - he really did make sure we had the best experience and animal sightings. The Tarangire Park was especially brilliant, but we loved them all as they were all so different. We all thoroughly enjoyed the night safari - we saw lots and it was a great experience. The accommodation was great and the welcome we had at each camp was fabulous. We have had a really wonderful holiday. Thank you so much for another great trip. "

"Excellent balancing of days spent on the right locations, matching our expectations in terms of quality and strategic location. Bakari the Concierge was very responsive and helped us organise a last minute day activity in Stone Town. Our safari driver/guides were simply outstanding and made a difference when spotting animals in the national parks. We loved our complimentary honeymoon dinner on the beach organised by you, thanks again!"

"We had the most amazing time in Tanzania, it really was so special, thank you so much for organising such an amazing trip. Jabali ridge was incredibly special. They went above and beyond to look after us and it definitely will remain one of my favourite places I’ve been. I really can’t say better things about the hotel and the staff. The chef was truly incredible and so considerate about all of our requests. Zanzibar was also beautiful, and the staff again were just impeccable. Hotel was stunning and it was all round an amazing week. Thank you so much for organising our sunset dhow, it was such a treat and was a highlight of the trip. Really appreciate all your help and thanks again for the best holiday. "

There’s no place like Tanzania. In fact, it’s a wildlife hub and destination unlike any other, with countless world-renowned parks that’re longing to be explored. There’s the Serengeti National Park, that needs no introduction, with its epic landscape and Big Five spotting opportunities. Or Zanzibar and its neighbouring islands, that offer white sand shores and equally captivating marine life. However Tanzania wildlife holidays are spent, you can be sure that it’ll be a memorable trip unlike any other.

Visit The Serengeti & Ngorongoro Crater

Experience the wonder of the Serengeti and the mammoth Ngorongoro Crater, home to fiery sunsets that bask the savannah in warm-toned hues, as the Big Five attempt to coexist in the varied landscape. Gentle giant elephants roam among elands, hartebeests and endangered rhinos in the crater. While resident wildebeests and zebras stay a little longer, avoiding the annual migration. Meanwhile, hippos can be seen in the permanent fresh-water pools and swamps - the perfect spot to snap the abundance of wildlife in its natural habitat.

A Trip to Gombe Stream National Park

Wildlife lovers rejoice, as a journey to Gombe Stream National Park, located in the westernmost region of Tanzania, sees you nestled along the shores of Lake Tanganyika in great company. Granted that company is the countless playful chimpanzees and other primates that the park plays host to, but this small and mighty region isn’t to be overlooked. In fact, this Tarzan-esq spot certainly packs a punch, with a sprawling and expansive landscape that marries wild woodlands, steep swooping valleys and grasslands, with the buzz of a tropical rainforest thrown in for good measure too. Plus, the cheeky faced monkeys and primates swinging overhead are pretty hard to resist!
